Compact filters for oil, water, emulsions and solutions
Lehmann-UMT is presenting a chip management system with integrated compact filter and tank. This is a scraper chain conveyor equipped with a pre-separation system. Chips between 0.5 mm and 5 cm in size are separated here.
Lehmann-UMT designed the compact filter for the mechanical processing of various materials such as steel, aluminum, cast iron, grey cast iron and stainless steel. The conveyor belt for the fleece in the filter is C-shaped, as in bowl filters, and is supplemented by a defined discharge slope, which prevents the particles from falling back into the dirty liquid in the cooling lubricant filter. Depending on the fleece, particles up to 10 µm are filtered out. Electrical fill level monitoring is standard with the new paper belt filter. The system on show at AMB is designed for a throughput of around 300 l/min.
