The Hezinger BendingLine MG4R3038F round bending machine has been in use at Stahlrundbau Hanke from Flöha near Chemnitz since 2020. The company was founded in 1990 and offers its customers everything to do with bending, rolling and milling. This also includes custom-made products, which are used in the construction of the approximately 55-metre-high steel heat storage facility for the city of Rostock. The heat storage facility will supply the Hanseatic city and the region with hot water in a climate-friendly way and will go into operation at the end of 2021.

With the CNC-controlled 4-roll round bending machine Hezinger BendingLine MG4R3038F, Stahlrundbau Hanke benefits from powerful and economical support. Thanks to the convenient control system and two additional digital displays for the side roller positions, maximum precision is guaranteed even with sheet thicknesses of up to 250 mm and working widths of up to 8,000 mm.

"In addition to their precision, our round bending machines are characterized above all by their high forming force and great versatility in processing," says Thomas-Alexander Weber, Managing Director of Hezinger Maschinen. "We are delighted that our machines are also making a contribution to the energy transition in this way."

For Stahlrundbau Hanke, it was not only the intuitive operation of the round bending machine that was convincing, but above all the maintenance-free machine concept, which is ensured by the maintenance-free torsion shaft and the permanently lubricated bearings.

Factors such as Hezinger's comprehensive service, from financing to logistics, operator training and a wide range of expansion options were further arguments in favor of the Hezinger machine.
