Just in time for the brand's 40th anniversary, Voltcraft is expanding its measurement technology range with a new current clamp meter with a particularly wide measuring range: "With the newly developed VC-1310, Voltcraft is consistently taking the next step," reports Susanne Storch. As Senior Expert Product Manager, she is responsible for the measurement and testing technology range on the Conrad Sourcing Platform, which currently comprises more than 80,000 items.

More flexibility thanks to large measuring range

Residual currents can not only cause damage to electrical systems and devices. Anyone who operates a faulty system or comes into contact with a faulty device is exposed to danger. These can be detected immediately with the Voltcraft current clamp and thus averted: Currents can be measured safely and accurately from as little as 100 µA AC and up to 200 A AC in the CAT II 600V range.

The wide clamping opening with a diameter of 3.05 cm makes it possible to measure even larger cross-sections. When measuring with the leakage current tester, the conductor to be tested does not have to be cut open, which saves time and money. The unusually good price-performance ratio also makes the Voltcraft VC-1310 current clamp extremely attractive in the field of training and building technology.

Reliable, precise and safe

The VC-1310 offers solutions for reliable measurement results and practical handling even in challenging situations: It has a data hold button to freeze measured values and read them off easily - a clever feature for situations in which the conductor to be measured is difficult to reach and the display cannot be seen. And if the lighting conditions are also poor, the LED backlighting ensures optimum readability. The 3.5-digit LC display has 1999 counts and there is also an overload indicator.

Two points for the environment

If the Voltcraft current clamp is inactive for a longer period of time, it switches off automatically and saves energy for the next use. In addition, great importance was attached to environmentally friendly packaging and plastic was completely dispensed with.
