Winners honored in six categories

The decision has been made for the productronica Innovation Award 2025. An independent jury selected the best innovations in six categories from around 80 entries. The announcement was made just in time for the opening of productronica, the world's leading trade fair for electronics development and production.

Messe München is presenting the productronica Innovation Award for the sixth time since 2015. Interest in the award continues unabated.

"Almost 80 entries speak for themselves. The award has long been more than just an award - it sets the pace for new products and underlines the innovative strength of the entire industry," emphasizes Reinhard Pfeiffer, Managing Director of Messe München.

Cables, Coils & Hybrids" cluster: Komax

"We are delighted to have won a productronica Innovation Award for our Adaptive Incision Control (AIC) quality monitoring system," says Matijas Meyer, CEO of the Komax Group. "The AIC system is a further step in our efforts to continuously advance the automation of wire processing and confirms the innovative strength of the Komax Group, which has characterized the company since it was founded 50 years ago."

Future Markets" cluster: Xplain Data

PCB & EMS" cluster: Schmid Group

SMT" cluster: Ersa

"We are very proud and happy about the productronica Innovation Award for the Versafit One. The Versafit One is a semi-automatic press-fit machine that meets the needs of EMS and in-house manufacturers," says Rainer Krauss, General Sales Manager at Ersa. "It is Ersa's entry into press-fit technology for the production of flat assemblies for high-performance electronics, which are then used, for example, in electromobility or in the generation of green electricity."

The productronica Innovation Award is the first independent prize in the electronics manufacturing industry and is presented in close cooperation with the trade journal Productronic (Hüthig Medien).
