Making as many good contacts as possible in the shortest possible time - that is the main motivation for visiting trade fairs and industry meetings. However, the combination of lack of time, sensory overload and disorientation often stands in the way of this desired scenario. The IT solution provider Kutzner, which focuses on industrial and logistics projects, is now offering the market digital assistance with Focus Meeting +.

Focus Meeting + is a browser-based platform that Kutzner developed especially for companies and associations with a networking character. The software provides an overview of all participating companies and their representatives before the start of an event. The organizer invites its community, partners or members to take part in so-called mini-meetings via e-mail or newsletter. All interested participants then receive their login details at a specified time. This gives them the opportunity to request meetings with other companies, accept or reject incoming requests, block timeslots and then download their personal schedule.

New business meets speed dating

If an appointment is made between two participants, it takes place in specially equipped rooms with numbered tables and is limited in time, similar to speed dating. The fixed space and time frame allows targeted and clear communication with a large number of discussion partners in just one day. During the meetings, a 20-minute countdown is projected onto the wall. After 18 minutes, an acoustic signal announces the remaining two minutes and a third signal marks the end of the mini-meeting. The countdown also shows the time remaining until the next meeting and its participants. Focus Meeting + was piloted at the end of May for the logistics network Project Logistics Alliance from Bremen. as
