As in the previous year, INDUSTRIAL Production, KUNSTSTOFF MAGAZIN and materialfluss presented the awards at a joint event - this time at the Best Western Plus Plaza Hotel in Darmstadt. Peter Eberhard, Managing Director of Pelemedia, welcomed the award winners at the start of the event: "It gives me great pleasure to welcome you today to the Product of the Year 2025 awards ceremony; an event that celebrates innovation, honors pioneers and makes the excellence of the industry visible."

More than 3,300 votes were cast for the nominations on INDUSTRIAL Production by the end of the reader voting period at the end of January. Since the summer of 2024, companies from various industries have been able to submit their products for nomination as Product of the Year 2025. INDUSTRIAL Production then presented 47 nominees at the end of the year. All readers were then able to vote online for their favorites.

In the afternoon and evening of February 27, the editors then presented the prizes to the lucky winners in a festive setting. Read below to find out who came out on top in the categories of drive technology; automation, digitalization and networking; energy technology and electromechanics; sensor technology and image processing; robotics; handling and material handling as well as workplace and operating equipment, and who received the trophy and certificate.

The increasing importance of artificial intelligence applications in industry has also prompted us to award the "Artificial Intelligence" special prize from the editorial team for the first time this year.

"In the industrial environment, it is impressive to see the innovative strength and determination with which the companies we are honoring today meet challenges. Whether revolutionary production solutions, pioneering materials or ground-breaking logistics concepts - our award winners prove that progress is always possible when courage, creativity and technological excellence come together," commented Peter Eberhard.

And this year, the editorial team will once again be calling for innovative products to be submitted - then for the INDUSTRIAL Production Products of the Year 2026. We are already hoping for your active participation!
