VDMA Electrical Automation Division
Mathias Wolpiansky Elected to the Board of Directors
Mathias Wolpiansky, managing director of Rose Systemtechnik, will serve on the board of the VDMA Electrical Automation Division. He was elected to serve until 2030 and will help shape the division’s strategic direction in this role.
“Digitalization, AI, cybersecurity, and new business models are fundamentally changing the demands placed on our companies,” says Wolpiansky. “The question isn’t whether we’re changing. The question is how we can successfully shape this transformation.” As a member of the executive board of the VDMA Electrical Automation Division, he wants to help bring manufacturers, integrators, and users closer together. “I see the VDMA as a strong platform for connecting manufacturers, integrators, and users even more closely.” Wolpiansky also views his election as an incentive to further strengthen the VDMA’s role as a reliable partner in automation technology.
According to Rose Systemtechnik, serving on the board gives the company the opportunity to actively shape professional dialogue within the industry and gain new insights for its own work. At the same time, the company hopes to gain deeper insight into current challenges and technological developments in mechanical and plant engineering. These insights are intended to be incorporated into product development and enable a stronger focus on customer requirements.
Wolpiansky has been the managing director of Rose Systemtechnik since September 2025. He has been heading the Enclosure Systems division of Phoenix Mecano AG in Switzerland since May 2025. He graduated from the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and previously held executive positions at various industrial companies.
Prior to his election to the board of the VDMA Electrical Automation Division, Wolpiansky had already served in board positions with the VDMA General Air Technology Division and the VDMA Medical Technology Working Group.
