Farewell to Dr. Volker Hues

After more than 16 successful years on the Management Board, Dr. Volker Hues will leave the Management Board by mutual agreement with the Supervisory Board. In future, he intends to concentrate on advisory and supervisory board mandates.

Since joining the Management Board in 2009, Dr. Hues has had a decisive influence on the development of the Group: from the strategic expansion of the financial services business to the consistent focus on profitable growth and targeted internationalization, including the first M&A transactions in the USA.

"Dr. Volker Hues has decisively shaped the development of Jungheinrich for more than a decade with vision, integrity and leadership skills. We would like to thank him for the trusting and successful cooperation and the lasting impetus he has provided during this time," explain the Supervisory Board and the Lange and Wolf shareholder families.

Heike Wulff takes over the finance department

As already announced in spring 2024, Heike Wulff will succeed Dr. Hues. She has been a member of the Executive Board as designated CFO since May 2024 and is responsible for Accounting, Controlling, Tax and Internal Audit.

"As Chief Financial Officer, she will develop her department into a key pillar of the 2030+ growth strategy and play a decisive role in driving Jungheinrich's transformation forward."
