Gefasoft celebrated the official opening of the new company building in Franz-Mayer-Straße at the end of September. More than 150 guests of honor, including representatives from the city and district of Regensburg, authorities, universities and associations as well as the entire workforce, were welcomed by the two managing directors Harald Grünbauer and Michael Würsching as well as Georg Schlaffer, who is responsible for business development in the company management.

On the opening day, guests were also given an insight into the technologies and methods of the special machine manufacturer. The supporting program of the celebration included guided tours of the building with its sustainable air conditioning technology as well as short presentations on Gefasoft's core competencies in laser processing, image processing and production automation.

The new building offers the company a total usable area of 5,600 square meters, which consists of an office wing on six levels and a directly adjoining production hall. The ergonomically designed offices for administration, sales and development enable the departments to work closely together thanks to the communicative open-space structures.

The training center offers space for more than 20 trainees. The current 15 trainees in the fields of mechatronics, electronics and IT systems electronics are to be further expanded in the coming years in order to meet the demand for highly specialized specialists in the future.
