Bosch selects Contact Software
Bosch, the world's largest automotive supplier, chooses open source pioneer Contact Software as its strategic partner and signs a ten-year framework agreement.
Based on the agreement, all Contact products for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and the Internet of Things (IoT) are now available to the automotive supplier's approximately 400,000 employees.
In the first sub-project, the software is being rolled out across the company as an open integration platform at 5,000 workstations worldwide. The aim is to use product data consistently as part of digitalization and to execute processes and projects more securely and quickly.
