BDG: General management reorganized

Max Schumacher is the sole Managing Director

Since January 1, attorney Max Schumacher, previously spokesman for the main management board, has been the sole managing director of the Federal Association of the German Foundry Industry (BDG).

Since January 1, Max Schumacher has been the sole Managing Director of the Federal Association of the German Foundry Industry.

Max Schumacher, who has held various positions in foundry associations for many years, is also Secretary General of the European Foundry Association CAEF: "I am very much looking forward to working on the future of the foundry industry in a newly established association. With the proven employees and new structures, the association will succeed even better than before."

The two other members of the Executive Board, lawyer Gerhard Klügge, previously responsible for administration, and Dr.-Ing. Christian Wilhelm, previously responsible for technology, left the association on December 31, 2017.

The Managing Director is supported by four divisional managers who ensure that the interests of the foundry industry are represented and that BDG member companies receive comprehensive support: Jörg Evertz (Head of Administration), Thomas Krüger (Head of Member Services), Heiko Lickfett (Head of Economics) and Cesare Troglio (Head of Technology). kp
