Calculate vibration damping online
ACE Shock Absorbers is taking the next step on the way to a complete online offering from design to delivery. From now on, users can also make their selection for machine bearings quickly and easily around the clock on the ACE website in the Calculations menu at www.ace-ace.de.
Whether rigid or elastic, tear-proof or not, ACE has the right products and solutions for vibration damping and vibration isolation of machines. With the new, intuitive calculation tool, the company offers an optimal visualization of various possible applications. On the website, users can independently calculate more than two thirds of all typical design cases in a short space of time and display the appropriate machine mounts.
After entering a few key data, the program directly calculates the machine's center of gravity and thus the individual load on the support points, with a choice of alternative products for vibration damping. Whether you are looking for robust machine feet, conical mounts for vehicle cabins or vibration-isolating pot elements, for example, the tool determines in seconds which ACE vibration dampers are the best fit and displays them graphically under the machine. The free VibroChecker app developed by ACE can be used with the new program as an interface for determining the excitation or interference frequency, as can a filter to determine whether breakaway-proof or standard products should be calculated.
