Safety coupling SKW-KP
Two functions combined
Jakob Antriebstechnik presents the new SKW-KP safety clutch. It is designed as a flexible and backlash-free overload clutch for direct drives and combines a metal bellows clutch attachment with a safety clutch.
As a result, it offers protection against overload or collisions as well as compensation for misalignment. The safety coupling part offers a cost-effective keyway connection and an integrated deep groove ball bearing for high bearing forces. The metal bellows coupling attachment comes with four-shaft bellows and the easy-to-install Easy clamping hub. The SKW-KP is suitable for torque ranges from 2 to 9,000 Newton meters. In the metal bellows coupling attachment, it can be used for shaft diameters from 6 to 140 millimetres, the safety coupling part for diameters from 6 to 100 millimetres.
