Modular concept for powerboards

The demand for compact motor controllers with safety extra-low voltage requirements is increasing. Inverters for extra-low voltage motors are particularly in demand in the field of robotics and mobile devices, but also increasingly for stationary operation.

Hanning Elektro-Werke has developed the hatronic compact SMC 48 V / 30 A motor controller, a scalable series of power boards for DC voltage. The output power ranges from 500 to 2,000 W. During development, emphasis was placed on the principles of reusability in the modular system, time-to-market and interchangeability of the assemblies. Output power and scope of functionality can be determined by assembly variants. Control cards can be adapted to customer requirements and allow simple and reliable commissioning even with the first prototypes.
