In addition to systems and components, the companies of the Baumüller Group will be presenting their consulting and engineering services for mechanical engineering and machine operators as well as the complete service over the entire life cycle of machines and systems. Visitors to the stand will be able to find out about the design of new and the optimization of existing drive systems and the latest tools and software solutions.

Visitors to the stand can also look forward to a tour on the subject of lifecycle management, live demonstrations of the new Prosimulation software, presentations of new motion libraries, a theme park for decentralized drive technology and e-mobility as well as product innovations such as the expansion of the water-cooled servomotor series to include small sizes.

Lifecycle Management
Baumüller is a full-service provider and covers both the development and manufacture of components as well as system solutions and services for machine and plant construction and for machine operators. Under the motto "Enabling Industry 4.0 - in every phase of the value chain", visitors will go through every phase of the lifecycle on a tour of the trade fair stand and get to know the applicable solutions and products live using the example of a six-axis welding robot:

Faster time-to-market with ProSimulation
The newly developed Prosimulation software will be presented for the first time at the Hannover Messe and enables customers to get started in the world of simulation right away. The new tool simplifies the virtual design, optimization and commissioning of machines and systems. Depending on their level of experience, customers can either quickly create their own simulations and use cases thanks to the basic library or import existing software models thanks to open interfaces.

According to Baumüller, the advantages of Prosimulation are time and cost savings during development and commissioning, optimization of existing machines and systems as well as the development of simulation know-how within the company. Prosimulation expands the functional scope of the Prodrive operating software, which can be used to commission, parameterize and operate all b maXX controllers from Baumüller.

Extension of the motion control library
Baumüller is also presenting the Promaster engineering framework, which is based on the library concept: In addition to the basic library with motion modules according to PLCOpen, Baumüller offers a growing library of specific modules as well as machine modules with functionalities for engineering. Each machine module is tailored to important machine functions and optimally adapted. The basic library has now been expanded to include various motion modules for motion control of up to three motorized axes of a system.

Thanks to the motion libraries, manufacturers who want to develop multi-axis machines with basic functions such as milling, cutting or other individual motion sequences with little effort receive a modular automation solution that can be adapted to different applications. The advantages of using the machine modules for multi-axis applications are the reduced costs, the simple handling during project planning and commissioning and therefore the significantly shorter time-to-market. as
