Electromechanical spindle drives made to measure
With "Industrial Powerise" type IPR40, Stabilus, the parent company of ACE Stoßdämpfer GmbH, is now offering customized electromechanical drives. With the Customized to Order option, customers can have the actuators from the Koblenz-based motion control specialist configured to suit their applications. This means that the company is now also offering the drives, which were previously mainly used in the automotive sector, for industrial applications from batch size 1.
Customized configuration for industrial applications
Design engineers who cannot find a suitable solution in the standard range of actuators from Stabilus can receive a customized variant on request and after a short production and delivery time. Depending on the application, engineers from Stabilus or from the companies ACE Stoßdämpfer GmbH or Hahn Gasfedern GmbH support interested parties from design to commissioning.
Compact spindle drives with variable parameters
The IPR40 electromechanical spindle drives have a compact design and can be customized in terms of connections as well as output forces, stroke lengths and speeds. The actuators are available for 12 V or 24 V power supply and can be supplied in a waterproof IP67 version. Due to their design, they require comparatively little installation space.
Combination with industrial gas springs possible
For applications where higher masses need to be moved or controlled, the actuators can be combined with industrial gas springs from the Stabilus Group. The accompanying services include design, configuration and commissioning. On request, on-site support can be provided, including settings and parameterization of the electronic control units (ECU).
Expansion to other actuator types planned
Following the market launch of the IPR40, Stabilus plans to extend the Customized to Order option to other electromechanical drives. These include the types IPR35, IPR35 SMART and IPR40 SMART.
