Magnetic production

IPTE has launched the MMS (Magnetic Motion System) for very fast production lines. This means that the cycle time for changing the workpiece carrier can be less than 0.5 seconds.

This is advantageous for the production of small products with cycle times of two to four seconds, such as small electric motors, switching elements or components for the automotive industry. The assembly line has a direct drive system via an endless spindle with magnetic drive, which minimizes maintenance costs. A worm gear ensures the correct positioning of the pallets and enables the combination of two directions of movement in the processing area. The line is also divided into different segments that work independently of each other (interlinked systems move all workpiece pallets simultaneously). The design of the MMS allows the simple and flexible integration of production processes such as pick & place, screwing, inserting, welding, pressing and automatic function tests. as
