Lampert Precision Welding: Micro Arc Welder

The Micro Arc Welder is a precision welding device for industrial applications and enables the welding of extremely thin material thicknesses and complex structures in an area that is largely unsuitable for conventional TIG welding devices. The Micro Arc Welder is characterized by the TIG impulse welding process developed by Lampert ("Lampert principle"), with which high-precision permanent welded joints can be produced in almost all weldable metals and alloys without placing too much stress on the material through heat input.

The micro-pulse welding process of the Micro Arc Welder ignites the arc electronically at the point of contact between a non-melting tungsten electrode and the workpiece. The energy concentration acts on the welding point for a few milliseconds under an argon shielding gas atmosphere via the electrode. This reduces the heat input to a minimum and produces a permanent joint without the disadvantages of conventional joining processes and with virtually no distortion. Depending on the user settings, both single welding spots and a rapid sequence of several welding spots can be set one after the other.

The Micro Arc Welder can be used for a wide range of applications: In addition to classic welding connections with and without lead wire, the Micro Arc Welder can also be used for electrical contacting of sensitive electronics, metal application for repair purposes, restoration of wear removal and prototype construction of complex structures.

The Micro Arc Welder offers an intuitive, easy-to-learn user interface that can be operated even by non-experts, with preset welding curves for almost all metals and alloys, is characterized by high quality and durability and enables precision welding at unbeatably low investment and operating costs.

Fine welding with the Micro Arc Welder is possible using an eye protection system developed by Lampert with optical magnification and automatic dimming (welding microscope) as well as a Bluetooth signal-controlled helmet, which enables location-independent and flexible working. The Micro Arc Welder solves joining tasks in industrial metalworking, electronics production, development laboratories, repair workshops or mobile applications where precision, reliability and controllability are essential. It was developed for all weldable materials such as stainless steel and other steels, various nickel-based alloys, mu-metals, titanium, copper, platinum, gold, silver and in some cases aluminum in material thicknesses down to 0.1 mm as wire, sheet or in a metal mix.
