Three leak tests at once
Systems for leak testing modern components for electromobility and hydrogen fuel cells are a key focus of Worthmann Maschinenbau and its subsidiary Maceas.

Until now, an important limiting factor for industrial leak testing systems has been the maximum size of the test chamber. For test gas-based methods such as the accumulation method, the chamber ideally had to be as small as possible in order to keep test times as short as possible.
Condition assessment with noise emissions
In production plants, the strength of compressed air tanks is mainly tested using water pressure. This can result in longer downtimes because the containers have to be cleaned and dried afterwards.
Quality assurance for fuel cell vehicles
Fuel cell vehicles (FCEV) carry their drive energy with them in the form of hydrogen.
Quality assurance in industrial cell...

While the engine in conventional cars is considered the heart of the vehicle, in electric vehicles it is the battery. The battery also accounts for at least a quarter of the added value of the electric vehicle.
When manufacturing batteries for electric vehicles, as well as other industrial products, the manufacturer must comply with protection class IP67 against the ingress of water. Leak testing during the production process is not easy, especially as it has to be carried out quickly.
