The new protective caps made of 100% recycled plastic are suitable for use in parts and components for hybrid or electric vehicles. They protect the plugs of various manufacturers, for example in the area of batteries, air conditioning systems, heaters and more, from corrosion, dirt and mechanical damage.

The GPN 380 plug cap is available in two different shapes and is suitable for high-voltage connector systems from Rosenberger or TE Connectivity. The GPN 384 is used for high-voltage contact connections from Rosenberger. They are equipped with non-slip gripping surfaces that ensure quick disassembly and - with the exception of the GPN 380, shape A - can be mounted on both sides.

The GPN 385 plug cover in the standard color recycled blue, also used to protect high-voltage connector systems, is made of PCR-PE. Pöppelmann Kapsto has been awarded the Blue Angel, the German government's eco-label, for the resource-saving post-consumer recyclate. The GPN 385 can be used for high-voltage contact connections from the manufacturer TE Connectivity. The plug cover also simplifies disassembly with non-slip gripping surfaces. The protective cap ensures sealing during high-pressure/steam jet cleaning in accordance with IPX9K, depending on the specific connector design and quality. If required, it can also be manufactured in accordance with VDA Volume 19 and ISO 16232 in a specially equipped clean room.
