Ulrich Engenhardt new CBO at Rittal

New on the Rittal Management Board: Ulrich Engenhardt is now responsible for the business units at the enclosure, IT and energy system specialist. The business units are becoming increasingly important for the global player in order to support customers in over 90% of all industries in optimizing their value creation processes.

Ulrich Engenhardt is the new Chief Business Units Officer (CBO) on the Rittal Management Board as of June 1, 2023. The 49-year-old is responsible for the global expansion of the system provider's business units for enclosures, power distribution, climate control, IT infrastructure and software & service. "We are grateful that in Ulrich Engenhardt we have found a proven top manager with great expertise in the development and international orientation of business units," says Markus Asch, CEO Rittal International and Rittal Software Systems: "With the Industry, IT, Energy & Power, Cooling and Service business units, we are close to the markets and customers worldwide in order to be able to serve them in the best possible way depending on the specific requirements in the respective industries."

Over the past 20 years, Ulrich Engenhardt has worked in the top management of medium-sized companies in the mechanical engineering, automotive and medical technology sectors. Most recently, he was Executive Vice President of the Professional Products business unit at Alfred Kärcher. "I am very much looking forward to my new role at this impressive company," says Engenhardt: "One focus of my work is the holistic approach along the value chain of our customers. By combining hardware and software, we can help them to solve current issues such as energy efficiency and productivity faster and better - a major challenge and an opportunity, especially today."
