Halder locating bolt

Positioned correctly

The locating pins from Erwin Halder position workpieces in a specific direction so that they can then be clamped and machined precisely. The workpiece only requires two holes with the respective fitting dimension.

One cylindrical or spherical and one flattened variant must be inserted into the machine table or fixture at the same distance as the two holes. The user then places the workpiece with the first hole over the round bolt and folds it over the flattened bolt into the second hole. The flattened sides compensate for tolerances and the workpiece can be positioned easily.

The locating pins to DIN 6321 are manufactured from hardened and ground tool steel and are available in diameters from 6 to 25 mm in accordance with the standard. The locating pins with ball attachment are available with and without a shoulder in diameters from 7 to 50 mm, depending on the version.
