Solutions for limited space: Ganter, the standard parts specialist, equips mechanical components with electrical functions and has added the GN 422 bow handle with electrical switching function and integrated LED ring illumination to its portfolio as the latest component in this series. Depending on the application, the bow handle can be ordered in black or silver and with one or two LED switch buttons. The electric push-button is made of high-quality stainless steel and equipped with a special bicolored LED that changes color between red and green by reversing the polarity. In practice, this can be used to display the current status of a production machine, for example.

For installation, including professional electrical installation, the bow handles are equipped with either a connector plug or cable, with the cable feed-through concealed and therefore invisible to the user in the rear housing. The appropriate accessories can also be ordered from Ganter. These include the cable with connection coupling M12x1 GN 330, which is required for mounting the bow handle with cable plug-in variant.

In order to respond flexibly to individual customer requirements and enable a uniform machine design, Ganter also offers the bow handle under GN 422.1 without electrical equipment. In addition, the illuminated pushbutton with changeover contact is also available separately without a bow handle per GN 3310 with all connection variants.

In addition to the proven CAD data service for mechanical design, Ganter is now also simplifying electrical planning. For all components with an electrical function, such as handles with a switching function, safety switching hinges or electrical fill level monitoring, the necessary information is now also available electronically as a digital twin and therefore without system interruption: using drag & drop, this information can be inserted directly from the Eplan Data Portal into the circuit diagram using a macro, including the additional information required for the Eplan documentation. This service is free of charge for Eplan users.
