Merger with Felten
MPDV Mikrolab integrates the Felten Group. The Manufacturing Execution System from Felten has been transferred to 'Hydra X for Process' from MPDV and is marketed under this name.
MPDV, MES specialist, and Felten, solution expert for the process industry, are expanding their expertise under the MPDV brand. "The integration of Felten is the logical final act to unite the two worlds of the process industry and discrete manufacturing. In Hydra X, we are bringing together the industry knowledge and customer experience gained from our collaboration over the past few years. The result is a reliable, adaptable manufacturing IT system with even greater innovative strength and performance that is equipped for the challenges of the future," explains Nathalie Kletti, Managing Director of MPDV. Both companies will gradually implement the integration over the coming months.
By integrating Felten, the MES provider is consolidating its position as a specialist for the entire production IT of all industries, including segments such as plastics and metal processing, electronics production, automotive and medical technology. In the process industry, MPDV addresses the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics and paper industries. The company has around 530 employees at 13 locations in Germany, China, USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
