Develop better products faster
PTC introduces the eighth version of its Creo CAD software. Creo 8.0 increases productivity with enhancements to the functionality of Model Based Definition (MBD), Generative Design and Simulation with Ansys.
The new version includes updates in areas such as drilling, cable and pipe networks, sheet metal processing and rendering, as well as optimized dashboards and the improved model tree interface.
The renewed MBD workflows reduce time-to-market, errors and costs while improving design quality. Users are guided and supported by wizards when creating geometric dimensions and tolerances in assemblies. The Creo Simulation Live and Creo Ansys Simulation tools have been enhanced with static flow analysis and improved mesh control. For additive and subtractive manufacturing, mesh structures are optimized with simulation results. Creo 8.0 also offers new strategies for five-axis high-speed milling.
