Directly into the system
One year after the official market launch of the complete automation solution Item linear motion units, Item Industrietechnik has expanded the functional scope of the associated Item MotionDesigner design and selection software.
The online tool analyzes the requirements and creates the optimum combination of linear unit, motor and control unit on this basis. The extended version of the program not only offers users the option of creating a CAD model of the designed item linear motion unit. This can now also be exported to the download center integrated on the item homepage and downloaded there or inserted into the designer's CAD system using direct insertion drivers.
According to the manufacturer, the enhanced version is designed to be more user-friendly so that details for determining transportation tasks - such as loads and movements - can be defined and linked more quickly.
The manufacturer has also revised the ranking of the various possible combinations. The optimum item linear motion unit is now directly visible to the user. Detailed technical information in the latest software version should allow an even more precise assessment of how well the units meet the requirements and how high their respective performance is.
