Safe driving inside and out
The outdoorScan3 safety laser scanner from Sick was designed for safe collaboration between man and machine inside and outside buildings and won the handling award in 2019.
For example, it enables automated guided vehicles to navigate safely through outdoor industrial environments. Thanks to the outdoor-SafeHDDM scanning technology, it also works reliably in all weather conditions, i.e. in sunlight as well as in rain, snow or fog. The patented scanning technology works with 88,000 laser pulses - conventional scanners use around 500 pulses - and therefore enables high-precision measurement data, intelligent filtering of the measurement data and complex algorithms. The laser scanner also has a protective field range of four meters and a scanning angle of 275 degrees. as
