Image processing with Profinet interface
Vision & Control's Vicosys 5300 image processing system is now certified for Profinet and can be integrated into the widely used fieldbus without a separate gateway.
Now image processing with Vision & Control's Vicosys system is faster and less complicated. In mid-September of this year, the Vicosys 5300 multi-camera system passed the stringent certification tests of the Profibus user organization. This means that the system now has an officially integrated and certified CC-B Profinet interface. This means that it can be integrated directly into the fieldbus without having to go through an additional gateway.
This certification means that Vicosys is also approved for Siemens S7-1200 series controllers with Realtime Class A/B and the demanding Netload Class III. For uncomplicated integration into the Siemens TIA portal, Vision & Control also has its own GSD files (General Station Description) available for download on the product homepage. Optionally, this Profinet interface can also be used to set up a ring topology (MRP). as
