Complete documentation with photos

The challenge with picked customer orders is often complete documentation and proof of successful dispatch. KHT provides a remedy with the photostation powered by ivii.

The image capture system logs the respective order by taking a photo before each delivery, which can be clearly identified by a time stamp and routing label. "The KHT photostation powered by ivii ensures maximum transparency in the documentation of customer orders. Thanks to the clear and traceable identification of the images, complaints and returns can be processed much faster," says Christian Bauer, Managing Director of KHT Kommissionier- und Handhabungstechnik (KHT). The image capture system developed by ivii includes construction, electrics, camera and lighting.

The use of the system is very flexible: it can be used wherever an image is needed at a certain point in time for the purpose of providing evidence. The KHT Managing Director explains another advantage: "It takes a maximum of one day to commission the system. And with a 24-volt power supply, direct connection to the conveyor system is possible. There is currently no comparable complete solution on the German market," says Bauer.

After the KHT photostation powered by ivii has created the images, they are stored on an FTP server in the customer network. The name of the image is made up of the time stamp and the routing label read. This means that each image can be assigned to an order without any problems. In addition, the generated data can be processed automatically. The photo function simply needs to be integrated into the existing customer system. as
