ASi-5 counter modules
New functions and frequencies up to 250 kHz
The ASi-5 counter modules BWU3875 in IP20 and BWU4042 and BWU4202 in IP67 from Bihl+Wiedemann all have four digital counter inputs that can be individually configured and parameterized.
Pulse counters and encoders (24 V) can also be connected to the modules, which operate at counter frequencies of up to 250 kHz. In addition to the flexibility offered by individual parameterization and the reduced wiring effort in the field typical of ASi, new functions ensure that even more different applications can be solved cost-effectively with the ASi 5 counter modules.
The user can choose between a 32-bit value range and fast transmission of four independent 16-bit counter values in 1.27 ms. In addition to various counter functions, frequency and period duration measurements with and without filtering can also be carried out, enabling simple piece goods counting, positioning tasks or speed measurements, for example.
