Optimized workplace system
Numerous new components for the Item workstation system provide structure and individual customization. These include the Thin Client holder for computer mounting and the Flexhalter tool holder.
The workstation system from Item provides structure and order at the workstation as well as adapting various requirements to a workstation in manual production. The manufacturer of modular systems for industrial applications is expanding its ergonomically designed industrial workstations with additional components.
The new thin client holder, for example, makes it easy to fix computers in place. The two-part holder is secured in slot 8 or between the monitor and monitor holder/arm to save space. Self-adhesive protective strips hold the IT devices gently and securely. The holder can be adapted to different enclosure sizes as required.
With the new flex holder 8 D23-D30 from the hook and holder system, tools are fixed in place in no time at all. This is ensured by a clamp with an elastomer band that encloses tools with a diameter of 23 to 30 mm.
The Multi 5+USB charging socket media strip offers five earthed sockets, an empty slot for extensions and two USB ports with charging function. This provides numerous power connections for lights, extension cables etc. and mobile devices can be conveniently charged. The media strip is installed using adapters in system slot 8 or in profiles with cable duct K56.
The 280 D150 cloth dispenser and the 280 x 125 shelf are also new additions to the workplace systems portfolio. The cloth dispenser fits perfectly into groove 8 and is quickly fixed in place with two screws. Commercially available cloth rolls with a diameter of up to 150 mm can be attached directly to the workstation. An integrated tear-off edge makes it easy to tear off individual paper towels. The 280 x 125 shelf is ideal for storing utensils such as pens, scissors or measuring tools safely and neatly. It is also mounted in groove 8 with two screws and has an all-round edge with a beveled removal edge.
