Three Hoffmann Group products receive awards
The Hoffmann Group has won the German Design Award for three of its Garant products. The Garant ToolCar workshop trolley from the GridLine series and the Garant magnetic measuring stand were the winners in the "Workshop and Tools" category. The Garant pull saw with cross cut was also awarded a "Special Mention".
All three products impressed the international jury with their sophisticated design, which combines functionality and aesthetics in equal measure. The German Design Award is presented annually by the German Design Council, the German brand and design authority.
According to the jury, the Garant ToolCar from the Hoffmann Group 's new GridLine series has a modern, robust design that is also highly functional. Various modules allow for individual functional design: an optional power supply with Schuko sockets provides energy for power tools and lighting; protectors protect the cart and workpieces from damage; perforated walls and LED lights turn it into a versatile workstation. Thanks to its ergonomic 2K handle, the ToolCar can be moved quickly and easily from place to place. A central locking system reliably locks the drawers and side compartment.
A formally and functionally clean design also makes the hydraulic Garant magnetic measuring stand a winner. The product for holding and positioning dial gauges and feeler gauges is equipped with a hydraulic central clamp and a rubberized handwheel for evenly fixing all joints. According to the jury, its striking shape transitions give it a professional, high-quality and modern overall impression that conveys the demand for precision and quality very well. At the same time, it is pleasantly smooth and comfortable to use.
The Garant pull saw was the third product to win the award. The compact folding saw impressed the judges with its ergonomic 2K handle, which sits firmly and securely in the hand and enables optimum power transmission. The various adjustable angles of the saw blade were also rated as "very good". The pull saw blade with cross-cut trapezoidal teeth has a resistant thin-layer coating so that friction and chip adhesion are particularly low. This makes the saw particularly suitable for fast, straight cuts.
