Digital torque tool
Reliable and intuitive operation
With the OPEXplus digital torque tool, Bosch Rexroth is adding a particularly economical variant to its range of bolting solutions.
The solution can be used to measure both the torque and the angle of rotation. It covers the torque range from 3 to 800 Nm and transmits the tightening results to any IT system without additional control. The torque tools set new standards in terms of accuracy and ensure fatigue-free working thanks to their ergonomic design.
OPEXplus torque tools identify themselves in networks via the plugged-in WiFi module. When replacing a tool in an assembly line, the module can simply be plugged into the new screwdriver. The software included in the scope of delivery enables parameterization via a hotspot, the customer network or a serial interface. The intelligent OPEXplus transmits the screwdriving results with a screwdriving curve as well as the maximum torque and angle of rotation directly to any IT systems of the user without additional control. OPEXplus supports common protocols such as OpenProtocol, IPM or XML. The power supply is provided by a globally available standard 21700 lithium-ion battery cell.
The camera-based scanner of the ergonomically optimized torque and angle wrench simplifies the fast and correct reading and transmission of barcodes and QR codes to higher-level systems with an optical aiming device.
An LED indicator ring on the handle clearly shows the screwdriving process and the screwdriving result from all directions. A vibration module for haptic confirmation is also available as an option for users. The color display enables intuitive operation of the torque and angle wrench. The tool housing is made of a robust titanium-aluminum alloy with a non-slip handle cover.
