Thermal imaging camera
New for the medium-wave infrared range
The ImageIR 9500 high-end thermal imaging camera extends InfraTec's ImageIR series with a camera for the medium-wave infrared range in HD format.
The wide range of applications is typical of infrared thermography. The large number of different tasks corresponds to the high diversity of requirements that users place on modern thermal imaging cameras. InfraTec meets this challenge with a new model in its ImageIR high-end camera series. The ImageIR 9500 expands the company's range of thermographic systems, which are aimed at the global market and are suitable for investigations in the medium-wave infrared range.
Geometric resolution at a high level
The special feature of the ImageIR 9500 is clearly its cooled FPA photon detector. This is based on highly sensitive mercury cadmium telluride (MCT) and has a 16:9 HD format with 1,280 × 720 IR pixels. Due to the high native geometric resolution, the smallest structures on large objects can be recognized in detail. The combination with a high-performance microscope lens enables structures up to 1.5 μm in size to be imaged. This reduces the number of individual images required and at the same time avoids geometric measurement errors.
Even greater efficiency is achieved by using the MicroScan function. Thanks to this, the geometric resolution can also be increased to 3.7 megapixels in full image. Images with this image quality show measurement objects in extremely fine resolution.
The thermal resolution of up to 0.025 K supports the reliable detection of very small temperature differences on measurement objects and creates the conditions for creating noise-free thermographic images. IR image frequencies of up to 1.5 kHz in quarter-image format together with extremely short integration times of just a few microseconds enable users to analyze thermal processes that take place quickly.
Similar to the other thermal imaging cameras in the ImageIR series, this model can also be configured extremely flexibly. The modular design makes it easy to retrofit components such as motorized focus, internal high-speed shutter and motorized filter and aperture wheels.
