Frequency inverter

More performance and transparency

BMR develops and manufactures frequency inverters for high-speed asynchronous (AC) and synchronous (BLDC) spindles for milling, grinding, drilling and dressing. The specialists have now optimized the classic in the product range. The SFU0103 frequency inverter has an output of 300 VA, the SFU0203 480 VA. The new inverters are pin-compatible with the previous models. In addition to the faster DSP controller, there is the new FOC control, which enables sinusoidal control of AC motors with high PWM. According to the company, this leads to an improvement in the efficiency of the output stage and a 15 percent increase in performance with an unchanged size.

Frequency inverter

With the newly implemented control system, asynchronous and synchronous spindles can be driven with the same performance. This means more flexibility for users when selecting the spindle type. In addition to PTC, linear temperature sensors such as KTY or PT1000 can also be evaluated with freely programmable switching thresholds. In addition to RS232, a USB interface is available for communication.

Another innovation is the PRO version of the SFU0203 inverter, now with 620 VA power, regulated DC link voltage and a 5" LCD display. This enables the operating statuses to be displayed in plain text, meaning that a PC is no longer required to read out the parameters and configure the inverter. cs
