Stopper segments

Safely stopped

Intralogistics specialist Losyco is equipping its Loxrail conveyor rail system with newly developed stopper segments. The modules, which are mounted flush to the end of the rail line, ensure the safe, blockage-free stopping of the means of transport.

The conveyor rollers of the transport platforms are slowed down by plastic buffers and prevented from leaving the rail. The end plate prevents axial displacement of the guide shaft. The new end pieces can be attached to the rail profile in just a few simple steps. Stopper modules and conveyor rails are flush-mounted as a firmly fixed unit and cast into the hall floor with precise tracking, eliminating otherwise necessary, time-consuming assembly steps such as drilling, doweling and screwing. The buffer block and base plate can be replaced when worn. The transport system can be used to implement lean production processes structured according to flow production methods, even for smaller quantities and material- and labour-intensive production steps, without the need for major conversions.

The rail layout adapts to the local conditions with crossings and switches and is dimensioned in all components so that it does not present an obstacle for employees, industrial trucks, mobile racks or cleaning machines. as
