Habasit offers end connections for its Habasync timing belts for quick replacement as well as mobile punches and heating presses for on-site installation of endless belts. This allows maintenance work to be carried out quickly.

Machine and system manufacturers have a large selection of timing belts to choose from: The belt widths range from ten millimetres to 600 millimetres with T10 or H pitches. For other pitches, a longitudinal seam connection is an option, allowing widths of over 600 millimetres to be achieved. The timing belts are made of thermoplastic polyurethane with an aramid tension member. The thermoplastic polyurethane with a hardness of 88 to 92 Shore A, depending on the type of base material, is a material that is resistant to oil, grease or chemical agents and is also resistant to hydrolysis. The high-performance timing belts are also available with a polyamide coating for less abrasion and a longer service life in extreme applications. The endless Habasync Flex timing belts are suitable for particularly heavy loads; spiral-wound tension members ensure greater tensile strength compared to timing belts with an end connection. They can also be used for high power transmission where chemical resistance and wear resistance are an advantage. pb
