Bayopal transport pallet
Recyclable pallet for harsh environments
The new Bayopal transport pallet from Schoeller Allibert is suitable for use in harsh environments and is also easy to repair. This is made possible by its patented bayonet connection with predetermined breaking points between the upper deck and runners.
The plastics specialists at Schoeller Allibert have developed the new Bayopal pallet specifically for use in harsh industrial and logistics environments in all industries including food and beverage, retail, pooling, agriculture and automotive. The 1,000 x 1,200 millimeter plastic pallet has reinforced corner constructions and a perforated top deck with ribs for maximum rigidity and is ISO 8611 certified. The highlight of the new pallet, however, is the patented bayonet connection between the top deck and runners, which makes the pallet durable and sustainable. Connecting parts with predetermined breaking points ensure that impacts or improper use with lifting equipment only destroy the predetermined breaking point and do not damage the runners or the deck. As only the connecting parts need to be replaced, users can repair the Bayopal easily, quickly and cost-effectively.
During transport, the 24-kilogram load carrier is designed for dynamic loads of up to 1,500 kilograms, with a maximum static load of 6,000 kilograms and 1,250 kilograms for rack storage. The Bayopal is compatible with most automatic conveying and handling systems, runs smoothly and can be easily integrated into existing intralogistics systems. The robust pallet is available in several versions: with a smooth upper deck, it can easily accommodate cardboard boxes, with a five millimetre high stacking rim, plastic containers of all kinds, and with a 22 millimetre high stacking rim version, empty, upside-down Euro containers can be transported safely.
For even greater transport and handling safety, the upper deck and drive-in openings can also be fitted with an anti-slip surface. Users can equip the Bayopal with three, five or six runners. The pallet has enough space for RFID tags and IoT beacons. This enables the implementation of a transparent supply chain. And at the end of its useful life, the Bayopal is 100% recyclable, as you would expect from a "green pallet". as
