Dematic Multishuttle
New generation
Dematic has introduced a new multishuttle - the DMS 2E. The system stores, buffers and sequences products for picking and order picking.
According to the company, the latest shuttle generation enables higher performance with improved accuracy. In addition, the shuttle is compatible with all other DMS components such as the rack, lift and rack conveyor and also supports the patented inter-aisle transfer. The dynamic and sequenced provision of goods in real time ensures that the right product arrives at the right place at the right time with maximum transparency. The Dematic iQ software or an optional SAP solution controls all logistics processes in the warehouse as well as picking and dispatch. In addition to an improved design, the Dematic Multishuttle 2E also offers the option of using two shuttles on the same level. These operate autonomously, but collaborate when picking and processing orders. This allows performance to be scaled quickly. This reduces the initial acquisition costs. as
