Individual sorting of sheets will soon be automatic
The material handling expert Remmert is cooperating with the software manufacturer Wicam. The companies want to jointly implement integrated material flow concepts for fully automatic sorting of individual parts for sheet metal processing. Remmert supplies the machine components, Wcam the software.
The aim of the collaboration is to offer companies in the sheet metal processing sector tailor-made intelligent automation and intralogistics solutions that are directly linked to the existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. A central application takes over the entire production control. The solutions and products of both companies can be used regardless of the manufacturer.
By developing standardized interfaces to the ERP or production planning and control (PPC) systems and standardizing the flow of information across all programs involved, the entire process is simplified. This significantly minimizes the workload for customers during the project. A central contact person from Remmert for the technical implementation also simplifies central coordination processes. If system requirements increase, the system and software can continue to be expanded on a modular basis. as
