Logimat breaks records again

Logimat 2019 has closed its doors with an impressive final result: The intralogistics trade fair was able to record significant growth - even in the double-digit percentage range in the areas of visitor numbers and internationalization.

1,624 international companies (up 3.8%) from 42 countries (up 11%), including 250 new exhibitors, presented the latest developments and system solutions for efficient intralogistics to trade visitors this year. With the inclusion of Hall 2 and the gallery area in Hall 1 for the first time, Logimat 2019 occupied the entire exhibition space at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center. As a result, the exhibition space was once again expanded by an additional 7,500 square meters to a total of more than 120,000 square meters (up 2.6 percent). The net exhibition space increased by 7.8 percent to 64,348 square meters.

For the third time in a row, trade fair organizer Euroexpo reported an increase in visitor numbers, one of the most important factors for exhibitors' success at the fair, of well over ten percent compared to the previous year. A total of 61,740 trade visitors (up 11.5 percent) attended Logimat over the three days of the trade fair. "This enormous response from trade visitors far exceeded our wildest expectations," says Exhibition Director Michael Ruchty. "By clearly exceeding the 60,000 mark, the number of visitors has almost doubled within five years, while maintaining the same high level of quality and expertise."

Overall, LogiMAT is benefiting from the challenges posed by the digital transformation and the extraordinary solutions that exhibitors are offering. "The current final result of the 17th International Trade Fair for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management confirms the contemporary trade fair concept with the harmony of presentation platform, working trade fair and first-hand information on future-proof intralogistics," summarizes Exhibition Director Ruchty. The 18th Logimat in Stuttgart will take place from March 10 to 12, 2020. as
