Internet-based access control management

RS Components is now offering an internet-based Internet of Things (IoT) system for access control management from Abus. It was primarily designed for small to medium-sized commercial and industrial buildings and, according to the manufacturer, allows access control to be managed for up to 20 doors in a building or facility.

Internet-based access control management

The easy-to-use web-based system enables companies to easily manage access rights and quickly adapt the system to changes in employee status or add new employees. In addition, system settings can be adjusted using an app on a smartphone or tablet. According to the manufacturer, the wAppLoxx access control system combines the advantages of a conventional access control system with flexible and intelligent online management via the internet. Access rights can be created for up to 150 people, for example with separate access rights for individual offices, archives or sensitive areas in buildings such as laboratories, drug storage facilities, warehouses or industrial production. In addition to access control, alarm systems can be connected to the wAppLoxx via a cable, which prevents false alarms and optimizes the entire building control system. sw
