Energy guiding chain
Small and self-cleaning
With the TKK series, Tsubaki presents a new cable drag chain for small installation spaces in harsh environmental conditions, as required in lifts and work platforms.
The TKK39 is self-cleaning and supports long unsupported travel distances of up to five meters. The installation height is only 142 millimetres - the manufacturer was able to reduce the height by 65 percent compared to comparable solutions. The energy chain can be used in both unsupported and gliding applications; it supports speeds of three meters per second and accelerations of nine meters per square second. Assembly is simple, the company promises; short steel connecting elements are bolted directly to the bracket or support.
The chain links are made of plastic; hybrid chains with aluminum links and steel chains are also available as an option. The series is also equipped with a dust, dirt and chip-proof stop system. Dirt simply runs off the particularly smooth surface, and the energy chain is also self-cleaning when in motion: specially integrated bevels break up the dirt so that it can then be conveyed out - thus preventing compaction or lump formation. as
