Cable protection in layers
With its Fipsystems range, Fränkische Industrial Pipes meets the requirements of mechanical and plant engineering for future-proof cable protection.
To prevent machine failures, important cables and lines around systems and devices should be specially protected - even if the local situation actually leaves little room for efficient cable protection. "There is a suitable product in our Fipsystems cable protection range for almost every application in machine, plant and tool construction. We don't just use our standard components, but also develop customer-specific solutions," says René Hofmann, Product Manager Cable Protection Industrial Applications at FIP.
The cable protection expert focuses his attention primarily on permanent mechanical cable protection and laying cables and lines as flexibly as possible.
The certified range of standard Fiplock corrugated conduits and the matching Fiplock One connection fitting is ideal for global market access. In addition to the usual market approvals in accordance with EN61386 (CE marking), the now very important UL1696, which is essential for exports to North America, for example, also plays an important role here. In addition, international specifications often require customer-specific tests and corresponding certificates for complete product groups as well as individual materials and dimensions.
According to the manufacturer, Fiplock One is a unique connection gland in industrial cable protection. It covers all protection class requirements in industrial applications - IP 66 to IP 68 as well as the highest possible protection class IP 69. According to the motto "One fits all", the user no longer has to choose between different products - this saves storage costs and reduces sources of error to a minimum right from the product selection stage.
Fiplock One permanently ensures every required IP protection property, even if the conduits are subject to dynamic loads or a demanding environment. The cable protection gland is easy to install: The corrugated conduit is pushed into the ready-to-install gland made of specially formulated polyamide 6 and thus firmly integrated. The connection can be easily opened and reused with a standard slotted screwdriver if required.
Fipheat is used where high temperatures are required, for example in blast furnaces in the steel industry or in machines that are exposed to constant heat vapor. The high-tech materials of the high-temperature corrugated pipes are heat-resistant up to 300 degrees Celsius and can also withstand high loads in the chemical industry.
The products in the Fipspecials range, which are developed and produced to meet specific requirements, solve particularly demanding special cases. The product group includes corrugated pipes with integrated threaded connections, segmented pipe systems and multi-layer corrugated pipes. With Fipspecials, conduits are not always round - if necessary, FIP also produces square or hexagonal variants or oval cable protection conduits, which can be installed in a particularly space-saving manner in a variety of applications. as
