A quick and easy linear robot
For the engineering of multi-axis systems, Bosch Rexroth offers a new digital and intuitively guided process for fast design, selection, configuration and ordering.
In just a few minutes, users can now create linear robots for a wide range of handling tasks with transport weights of up to 100 kg and workspaces of up to 13 m3 using predefined axis combinations. The range of applications extends from palletizing and pick-and-place to positioning and sorting work through to separating or assembling.
Based on five predefined axis combinations in 36 sizes, the LinSelect selection software guides the user step by step through the design process. LinSelect then selects the mechanical drive technology based on the specified service life and accuracy requirements. At the touch of a button, LinSelect transfers all product data and parameters to the online configurator for final adjustment. A live preview shows the selected system as a 3D model. Once the details have been selected, the documentation and the CAD model are available for download. The multi-axis system can then be ordered directly via the eShop.
Bosch Rexroth delivers the selected handling robot pre-assembled, with a complete energy chain and cable management on request. The effort required for commissioning, programming and connection to a higher-level controller is significantly reduced if the user selects the Smart Function Kit option. In this case, the multi-axis system with ctrlX DRIVE drive controller, ctrlX Core controller and pre-installed software becomes a plug-and-produce solution.
