Web-based viewer shows 3D models
With the new version 8.6, Simus is optimizing its simus classmate software suite. According to the manufacturer, the modular tool simplifies processes such as material master creation, automatic classification, geometric similar part search or calculation of components. The latest version simplifies handling and improves support for users in ensuring data quality.
The software suite includes company-specific configurable modules that can structure, automatically classify, cleanse and search databases according to technical or geometric attributes. According to the manufacturer, processing has been made more convenient in many areas, making work processes easier. One of these work simplifications is the so-called "simus WebGL Viewer" in the classmate easyFinder module, the web-based version of the classmate Finder - a CAD-integrated data search engine. This new viewer shows 3D models in the browser, without additional installation.
