Efficient down to the last detail
Maintenance app from PIA Automation at Automatica
At Automatica 2023, PIA Automation will be showing what an efficient, intelligent and digitally designed future can look like. In addition to information on the latest manufacturing technologies and processes, the new maintenance app can also be experienced there.
The Maintenance App is integrated into the PIA Industrial App Suite, a modular software package with extensive functionalities for production, maintenance and quality managers. The solutions in the App Suite collect data from assembly systems and use this data to provide important conclusions for optimizing production processes. This is where the new maintenance app fits in seamlessly: it is installed locally in the customer's system, runs on a browser and makes it easy for users to keep track of upcoming or overdue maintenance work on their systems - a decisive efficiency advantage compared to other solutions, which are often still paper-based.
In compact live talks at the stand, the experts from PIA will present current products and cases as well as trends relating to automated manufacturing processes. With increasingly complex products, these include not only the economic efficiency of production, but also the multifaceted topic of sustainability, for example. PIA therefore supports its customers in setting up future-oriented production systems - from planning to commissioning and maintenance. The automation experts start as early as the development phase: Virtual processes replace resource-intensive and costly real tests and reduce the costs of a plant even before it is built.
The company will also be demonstrating the different products that are produced on PIA systems at its stand. The portfolio ranges from microcomponents from the industrial and consumer goods and medical sectors to heavyweights from the automotive and e-mobility sectors. The exhibits include touch displays for household appliances or vehicles, which are manufactured automatically and reliably on PIA systems with fast cycle times. Interested visitors to the PIA stand in Hall A6 can also find out more about the production of battery modules for electric cars, insulin pens and plug-on brushes for electric toothbrushes.
