Industry 4.0 solutions for machining
EVO and Renishaw cooperate
Software manufacturer EVO Informationssysteme and Renishaw have entered into a strategic collaboration for the digitalization and automation of production processes at companies in the metalworking industry. The aim is to support customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the implementation of digitalization projects with tailor-made Industry 4.0 solutions for machining.
EVO's extensive range of software for connecting CNC machine tools and Renishaw's versatile measuring technology make it possible to increase the productivity of machines and systems in unmanned production. Interested companies can find out what role digitalization plays in this and how it is implemented at special workshops offered by the cooperation partners at machine manufacturers and technology centers.
The cooperation between the two companies should lead to significant cost and efficiency benefits for the end customer. It automates machining in line with Industry 4.0 with assured product quality and reduces set-up times. In addition, the measurement technology in the machine provides automated measurement data during the production process. The machining process can be designed transparently from the island to the complete solution.
Cooperation between globally active companies means "more efficiency from A to Z" for the customer: Automated production (in the sense of Industry 4.0) can be implemented cost-effectively and efficiently. Renishaw's hardware and software products enable unmanned shifts (even with batch size 1). And the consistent, end-to-end digitalization through the EVO software modules creates maximum transparency. kp
