Forcam is presenting its Forcam force solution, which won the 2018 Industry Award, at the Hannover Messe. Forcam CEO Franz Gruber says: "SMEs need simple and useful solutions. That's why we are offering our award-winning Forcam Force solution for a free trial. Motto: Simply start Industry 4.0." The advantages of digital factory control are numerous. The main benefit is up to 30 percent higher productivity - measured in terms of overall equipment effectiveness OEE.
Flexible IT platform for all solutions
In the age of digitalization, added value can only be created if top expertise is intelligently networked. Gruber: "In the era of the Internet of Things - the IoT - networking only works with open systems that companies can bundle and control on a standardized platform." This is exactly what Forcam offers: the control of all systems on one platform, the seamless networking of store and top floor (SAP / ERP) and the seamless expansion with new systems through open interfaces.
Franz Gruber says: "The future belongs to IT architectures that flexibly network a wide variety of systems for planning and production on a single platform and make them controllable across national borders via smartphone." According to Gruber, however, silo-based MES (Manufacturing Execution System) IT systems are becoming obsolete.
The IT specialist from Ravensburg is exhibiting at the Hannover Messe together with DXC Technology, TDM Systems, WAGO and Infor. "Our international premium partners are also part of our concept: we make Industry 4.0 simple. Medium-sized companies don't need to search around for long, but can obtain comprehensive information from us on all aspects of digital factory control and modern store floor management," says Gruber.
Forcam Force enables manufacturing companies to significantly increase their productivity at all levels. The software provides real-time transparency on all computers and mobile devices. Errors and waste are detected and eliminated immediately and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) is increased by up to 30 percent. am
