Robust and sealed
TE Connectivity has launched new single-pole Deutsch DTSK connectors for robust, sealed applications. The high-performance thermoplastic connectors are suitable for contacts with a diameter of eight millimetres and are designed for up to 125 amps.
They have been specifically developed for the tough conditions in heavy-duty vehicles, buses, agriculture, mining and construction, the marine sector and other demanding industrial applications, says the manufacturer. They snap into place when plugged together and also have an integrated secondary locking mechanism. Thanks to the individual wire seal with rear protective cap, they protect the connections from dirt, dust and moisture. DTSK connectors can be used either in flying leads or (with optional mounting flange) in flange mounting. as
